we have snow! and, er, show renewal

a. we finally got at least some of the snow we deserve. to which i say WOO! and i say WOO! even after i had to drive home in it. :D i probably could've stopped at the grocery store, tho.

b. supernatural's been renewed for a sixth season. i'm kind of torn - i want a return to s1 and s2, and if that's what we get, i might actually watch. but i don't care what happens because of the apocalypse, because i don't care about the apocalypse, and if s6 is just going to give us more angst, woe, angels, and the irreparably broken winchesters and their irreparably broken relationship, i'm not interested. but i'm still curious where the show goes. i guess we'll see. i'll probably break habit and spoil the hell out of myself.

c. i no longer have to call my mom and ask her for some advice on manners, even though i was pretty sure i already knew the answer to my question and i just needed her to agree with me. but the problem's been solved so now i don't have to worry about it.

d. today's olympic googledoodle is a couple of curling stones. the first match was today at noon, boston time. i don't know how we did, tho.
