conversation i had with my dad on the phone this morning:
dad: i need your full name as it appears on your passport.
me: i think it's, uh....
dad: don't think.
ok, maybe you had to be there.
me: why do you need it? otherwise they won't let me out of the country?
dad: no, they won't let you back in.
and i thought oh, bummer, i'll have to stay in spain, what a hardship....
nasa's most awesomely weird mission patches - as determined by wired. vitruvian woman! marvin the martian! conestoga wagons in space! also, uh, a teenage mutant ninja turtle and stephen colbert on a treadmill.
seen twice, so i have to do it now - my desktop wallpaper.
wallpaper made by
ignited. desktop slightly more cluttered than my desktop at work, much cleaner than, say, my parents'. they've got all their icons out, seriously. you can't see the wallpaper. you also can't find anything. it drives me bugnuts. (one of my coworkers does the same thing. i HATE having to find anything in his computer.)
the two pdf's are instructions on how to make a snack-sized (ie, small) serenity out of legos, both regular and modified to look like a reaver ship. all my legos are in my parents' basement but i don't have enough of the right pieces to make a serenity. i should rescue them and figure out what i'm missing and where i could find it.
