re: the five things that you associate with me meme - am i supposed to discuss the aforementioned five things now? because i can, if anyone's interested....
i'm trying to make a book with a binding i've only ever made once in a class, and my process for figuring out how to format the pages apparently involves a lot of trial-and-error printing, redrawing guidelines, rearranging the various pages of text to get them to print in order, writing on blank pieces of paper, printing again, and finally drawing a damn diagram on paper so i can replicate this mess at home.
i should just start with the diagram first next time. on the plus side, if this binding works and i want to do it again, i've already done the hard work as far as formatting is concerned.
