last call for anyone who wants to see lawrence of arabia with me tomorrow afternoon. i think tamalinn is coming with.
it's really cold out, altho the kind of cold that makes folks from southern climes go "are you people CRAZY?" and canadians and people from, like, minnesota and wisconsin go "welcome to my world!" (because "cold" is relative.) i have no idea how cold it has to be for the districts to start closing schools, but i'd guess we haven't hit it yet. still, brrr.
new bsg tonight AND the start of fnl s3 on a primetime channel. woo, and also hoo. and apparently the scifi channel is running a bsg marathon all day today - like sixteen hours of it O.O - so it's a good thing i had to go to work, otherwise i'd have spent the entirety of the day on the couch catching up. which is too slothlike even for me.
i actually liked spn last night except for the last five minutes, which has turned into a formula and is just lazy writing. come on, guys, you can do better than that. (for reasons that escape me, i seem to be much more willing to air a negative opinion in other people's lj's than in my own. well, people who i agree with - i'm not going to come into your lj and harsh your squee, because that's rude. but if you didn't like the same things i didn't like, it's much easier for me to agree with you than to put it in my own recap.)
dear pedestrians,
you see that stretch of concrete right there? that's a perfectly good sidewalk. it's even cleared of ice and everything. i suggest you use it. cars are bigger and faster and heavier than you are, and you can get out of their way quicker than they can stop. so, you know, move.
