I wonder when my cleaning phase will end...
Rose from Walters just called me to see if I wanted to teach at the studio in September. Man it's so tempting, but not knowing where I'll be in a year's time, I think it would be irresponsible for me to agree. Also the part where she doesn't yet know I'm already teaching at another studio. But it's nice to get an offer. Also doubly nice that she seems to have either forgotten or no longer cares that I ran away (not literally) 4 years ago. Heh.
There was a big rain storm yesterday morning. Normally rain never gets through my window, but because the winds were pretty wild, my desk got pretty wet, so I took the opportunity to finally just clean my desktop. Luckily nothing important got irreparably wet. Now my desk is nice and clean. My bet is it won't last more than a month, heh.
My closet is almost cleaned. I have a bunch of pants I need to hem and some shirts I need to repair. My sewing skills suck, so I suspect I'll hem like 2 pairs of pants and then give up. Like last year. Heh.
So week 1 of my summer schedule went off with just a tiny hitch, but otherwise it's worked quite well. I'm not following it to the T, of course, it's just a guide, but it's a nice guide. It's good to spin and x-stitch again. And to LJ again = ) But I'm not gonna finish all my sewing in time to start quilting this summer. Boo.
I think I've been oversleeping. (aka I would be less tired if I slept less) Damn.
Anyways, time to pull out some knitting while I read some LJs. = )
PS: I'm very sad to have missed Pie Day. I wonder how it went?
