Yep, we got us some severe weather in our area right now, well actually, a short time ago. North us about 60 miles they were reporting 80-90 mph winds, winds strong enough to topple two semi trucks on the Interstate onto their sides ( Read more... )

The storms were bad here in Plano last night. We lost power for 12 hours. There are trees down everywhere.

It seemed like y'all got the brunt of the storm. We had some limbs down from some high winds, but not like you got.

HI there. No, two were killed by lighting, strange as it may be, two separate places but they were both on water.
One lady was killed here in my town, well actually just outside the city limits, on a lake and a guy was killed fishing in a pond a couple counties away from me.

It was a day/night for storms that week and starting tomorrow, things look to be about the same for this week.
It has been an active weather season for sure and we are about half-way there.
