Mark/Eduardo - neighbor/high school AU

I really, really want some fic where Mark and Eduardo are around high school-age, neighbors and have families (or just mothers?) that are good friends, which leads to things like barbecues or dinner parties, but they're not really friends?

Maybe Mark thinks Eduardo seems disgustingly friendly and not like someone who'd be friends with him (unlike Dustin who is disgustingly friendly but also really fucking strange and also likes computers), while Eduardo is slightly intimidated by Mark and thinks Mark dislikes him a lot. And then, like, some form of forced or coincidental repeated hanging out and whoa, feelings, what does one do with these, how does one deal with stuff, this wasn't supposed to happen. And horniness? And first time things? And meddling/curious/inquiring families, but also happiness?

op, do you care if details about mark & eduardo's families (names, hometowns, etc.) are changed? i'm considering giving this a shot but i feel weird using the names of real people who aren't technically public figures.

There are literally hundreds of things that Mark would rather be doing than sitting in his next-door neighbours’ back yard at their annual start-of-summer barbeque, listening to the adults discuss how difficult it is to find kosher barbeque meats in this town
