Birthday and kitties!
First off, Happy Birthday to me! I had planned on having some Teen Wolf fanfiction done, but uh, that didn't happen considering last weekend was eaten by Ikea and kitties.
Yes, kitties.
miome and I adopted two kitties on Sunday. They were advertized as extremely shy and a bonded pair. I could care less about the shy part, and the fact they were a bonded pair was perfect. So we now have two new cats: Toby and Davi. We are going to introduce Nadia to them a bit this weekend and see how they react. Considering neither one of them is particularly aggressive, I think we'll be fine.
Fun story about them: for the first few days we had them locked in the master bathroom. In the master bathroom, we have a small, wooden stand we use to hold extra toilet paper. It's not that big. Toby, in all his infinite wisdom, decided that this was the perfect place to hide. Only he was larger than his hiding spot. So bulges of orange and white fur could be seen coming out of the base.
After I laughed at this for a while, I went on to to work. Miome then told me that Davi decided this was the perfect place to hide as well. Well if one cat wasn't going to fit, then two cats definitely weren't. Somehow Davi managed to fit his head under the stand. Which mean in addition to the rolls of orange and white fur, all of Davi's butt was visible. Didn't matter to him. If he couldn't see us, then we couldn't see him. He was HIDDEN.
Not the brightest bulbs in the bunch, there two. But they are super sweet. I wish I had gotten a picture of under the stand though. It was hilarious.
mechante-fille, I got the unicorns! They all made it intact. It was actually perfect timing because they came right before my birthday. Thank you so much for sending them!
