Round Four: Cold Case Files

Mar 01, 2008 09:49

Welcome to Round Four of The Sentinel Slash Ficathons!

sara_merry99 and I are thrilled to announce that the theme for our fourth round is Cold Case Files, where old episode titles get a fresh look.

I have culled 100 of the most interesting episode titles (in my opinion *g*) from Angel the Series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, due South, NCIS, Numb3rs and Supernatural. We’ll drop those titles into a hat and randomly assign everyone two titles, one from the supernatural collection (Ats/BtVS/SPN) and one from the crime drama collection (dS/NCIS/N3).

For example, your prompt might be: Lie to Me (BtVS)/SWAK (NCIS). Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to use either of those titles (or both, if you’re so inclined) as inspiration for your fic. How you use them is entirely up to you, and you may twist the prompt however you like.

Rules:

1. This is a slash ficathon, so no het or gen fic, though your fic may be any rating (including G), and any genre.

2. There is no maximum word length, but stories should be at least 1000 words. (That’s only about 3 pages, folks!)

3. You may use your prompt however you like.

4. You do not need to have a LiveJournal account to participate in the Ficathon.

Dates:

1. Sign-ups will be open from Saturday, March 1 through Friday, March 21.

2. Prompts will be posted here at ts_ficathons on or before Sunday, March 23.

3. Stories will be due the last week of May, Sunday, May 25 through Saturday, May 31, which gives you eight weeks to write! (Please don’t post your stories before then. On the 25th, I’ll create a master list and ask you to provide links in the comments.)
