Round Three: The Sentinel Gets a Clue
Welcome to Round Three of The Sentinel Slash Ficathons!
First, I’d like to thank sara_merry99 for stepping in and helping me out with this round! Thank goodness she had no idea what she was letting herself in for. *g*
And now, about the ficathon. The theme for our third round is ‘The Sentinel Gets a Clue’, which will be based very loosely on the game Clue. How loosely, you ask? Well, we’re going to assign you a prompt consisting of a person, place and thing, and you have to use those three items in your fic. They can form the basis of your entire fic, or be mentioned in passing; how you use them is entirely up to you, and you may twist the prompt however you like.
To make things even more interesting, the “person” will be one of the guest characters we’ve met on the series.
Rules:
Please note that, even though we’re assigning prompts based on the game Clue, we do not expect a ‘Colonel Mustard in the kitchen with the candlestick holder’ type of fic. Unless that’s what you want to write. *g* Remember, how you use the prompt is entirely up to you, and you may twist it however you like.
This is a slash ficathon, so no het or gen fic, though your fic may be any rating (including G), and any genre. There is no maximum word length, but stories should be at least 1000 words. (That’s only about 3 pages, folks!)
Please note that you do not need to have a LiveJournal account to participate in the Ficathon.
Dates:
1. Sign-ups will be open from Thursday, March 1 through Wednesday, March 21.
2. Prompts will be posted here at ts_ficathons on or before Sunday, March 25.
3. Stories will be due on Sunday, May 20, which gives you eight weeks to write! (Please don’t post your stories before then. On the 20th, I’ll create a master list and ask you to provide links in the comments.)
