"Requiem of a Dream" is some seriously fucked up shit. At the end of it, reflecting back on it, "scary" is a good word for it, although that word probably would not come to mind as you are watching it. Not something for the depressed, however, something I would say everyone should see (particularly in high school (um, no, that is not a pun)). Now, I say this while at the same time re-confirming that I would support legalizing all drugs, although with certain conditions and systems attached to such.
Watching "What Dreams May Come" immediately before "Requiem of a Dream" is also a rather sudden gear-shift that could perhaps hurt some people's brains.
