last night was Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things.
again, M was watching through her fingers, and J was just watching.
i had to try to explain the whole grieving process, and that different people react differently and that it's a process that takes however long you need, because the only thing the girls remember losing were three of our cats.
but - i wanted to point out an observation -

there's nothing living around in this dead circle - unholy ground. and she's a zombie, too - unholy, unnatural - what's dead should stay dead, right?
