Solstice projects
This weekend I spent the better part of my time re-arranging the Craft room. I'd picked up two used pieces of furniture on FB Swap lists for $30 a piece; one an armoire and one an old style entertainment center.
For the former: given it has the best drawers and pull out shelves, it's now holding prepared incense and Triple Pillars supplies. The top is tall - armpit height, so it's not useful for a work station, I'm using it as a shrine surface, instead.
For the latter: The vacant tv section inside was a bit difficult to use as storage, but it turns out I had 9 canvas storage bins (the kind that fold down for storing them) and they've been re-purposed for use inside. The bins are now great little organizers, themselves. The height is perfect for a work station and it's right next to the herb cabinets.
What this means in the end is I've now emptied 5 boxes, cleared a few of the shelves on the bookshelves and emptied a rolling printer cabinet. Not sure what I'll do with the later. I still need to do some thinning of the stuff in there, starting with book that have zero relation to our personal practice.
