ATTN: Movie Mongrels!!!
The time has come to begin thinking about our return to school. I know most of you guys are actually still on campus or at least in the general area so it shouldn't be to hard for you to get there. Point is, I was thinking about having a recruitment station set up during freshmen coming-to-school-early-and-walking-around-in-order-to-not-be-super-overwhelmed-when-the-cool-olda-people-show-up weekend. We can have a stand or something. Or at least flyers. Or some thugs. It will be fun. But I need ideas.
Also we should all start thinking about next years activities. I want to do the Christmas/Valentines day video cards this year. And maybe something with pirates. (oh man! pirate ship recruitment! who can dress up like pirates on the freshmen coming-to-school-early-and-walking-around-in-order-to-not-be-super-overwhelmed-when-the-cool-olda-people-show-up weekend in order to recruit?!) Also I know Russell has an idea for a movie involving killer rocks, so a script thingy should be written up and presented at the first meeting (which will be scheduled at a later date. It would be helpful to have schedules for all the mongrels in order to get a convinient time btw). Russ, I can throw rocks and or get hit by rocks if the need arrises. And I'm sure you all have a good idea of where any rocks thrown in my general area will end up... Dave, you should keep us all up to date with the promo. If you need any help from anyone let us know.
Guys I had alot of fun last year with this but we honestly didn't get anything done. I want to have at least one decent movie created by the end of next year and I know we can do it. We need some money (read as we need some good money-getting ideas) and we need some equipment/people. Hopefully we can get people excited about this and get something accomplished. We need to really devote ourselves to making some movies here guys! Let's do it and get something created!!
leave ideas/flashes of brain lightning (cause you can't see brain thunder [sometimes you can hear it if it's really loud, but I won't be able to since most of you are 4 hours away and it's hard to hear it when you're standing right next to the person; most of the time you just mistake it for a fart anyway.])/questions/comments/recipes for bake sales/impeachment notices/and/or whatever else you want to in a comment on this entry.
