(no subject)
This is pretty much just a thank you post to ZSyed for the universal invite to the Serenity meet last night in Boston. I had a great time! Maybe next time I'll loosen up enough so it's possible to actually see that I'm having a great time. :P That's pretty much the biggest thing I've done for a while. I've mostly been trading my youth in to Wal Mart for easy cash, though I've got a nice little alternative prospect I need to get more info on. This 3-11pm WE-TH-FR-SA-SU-MO schedule is KILLING my social life. So, once again, thanks Z for the opportunity to get out and unwind a bit.
Sidenote: had my one year cancer checkup and two year surgery check up thingies today and, well, passed. Go me! My immune system isn't fucking around anymore, apparently! I also found out that all of my fears about the restapled ligaments in my leg coming loose (they were apparently totally healed a few months after surgery) or my knee exploding (turns out it wasn't even really taken apart much) have been COMPLETELY unfounded, thus my coddling of my left leg for these last two years has been completely unnecessary. My excessive use of commas does remain a problem, however. Starting tomorrow, I'm putting this leg to work, baby.
