Ok so again... lots of ups and downs been happening.
My grandpa died... yes at finals time. Now I have no grandparents which really sucks. I keep finding things that I want to tell them or something and then kind of have to realize all over again that I can't do that. Or I keep finding things that I've forgotten about that remind me of them. At least I got to be there with him this time.... although it was tough to just wait. The doctors were saying for like a week that it could be any minute.... talk about emotional rollercoaster. Anyways... I just keep trying to remind myself that they're all much happier now and not suffering anymore... but it still sucks.
On a much higher note... Colin and I got married!! :) It was June 10th. If you weren't able to attend or we didn't invite you... you can still feel free to send presents. It was pretty stressful near the end... I never would've gotten everything done if it wasn't for my awesome MOH, Julie... I would recommend her to anyone out there thinking of getting married!! Everything ended up coming together and there were only a few small mishaps... nothing major. We had a blast the day of... although I would've liked to see everyone more... it was so hectic we didn't get a chance to talk to any one person too much. If anyone wants to see pics... let me know... we have them up online. I might put a few on here later.
Colin had the weirdest bachelor party ever.... he and his groomsmen recited Shakespeare, sang to each other, arranged flowers, and dyed Colin's hair. No other comments on that.
I've decided to start a movie review... since I think most critiques are idiots... I can see I have to do everything myself.
Tonight's movie is Hostel. Colin and I just watched it... then I watched the making of while he went to bed. This movie is freaking AWESOME!!! The cinematography is captivating and there are a ton of really cool shots. There's more than enough gore and sex to satisfy any true horror movie fan. The premise is wonderfully creepy and actually based on true events.... which makes it even creepier. The only downside is I always have issues understanding people with thick accents, and there were a few in the movie. The foreshadowing is great... making for an excellent immediate re-watch... something you can't do with most movies. Extra special bonus points for the DVD.... the making of was the best I've ever seen. It gets a million stars out of ten. It actually takes you behind the scenes... instead of just recapping the plot of the movie (which you already know) and showing scenes from the movie (which you've already seen). It's also freaking hilarious!!! I would recommend this to any true horror fan or anyone with a pulse. This is the must see of the summer.... trust me!!!
If anyone has any movies they'd like me to review... feel free to leave suggestions! (Just no chick flicks... I don't think I could sit through 'em!)
And now to bed... for sweet blood filled dreams.
