So Colin, my mom, and I went to look at apartments last Saturday in Chicago. They actually weren't as bad as a thought!!! It's funny you should mention the Canton Chute Recreation Area. I was down there once, too, except it was dry and I didn't get caught in anything. I think it was sometime in September. It was a saturday afternoon, and I didn't have anything better to do than listen to a new cd in my car, so I decided to drive around the giga-tropolis that is Quincy. I ended up going up north on the road alongside the bluffs, and saw the sign for the Recreation area. I'll never forget when I ended up at a very high part of the road, and the road took a steep drop into what I thought was the MISSISSIPPI! I screamed like a little girl, thinking my car was going to plunge into the depths...Luckily, the road was just extremely steep. (I also think it might have been a road going over a levee, so that explains a LOT.) Later on in the year, I got the courage to go back there with a friend and we actually got as far as the actual recreation area...I wasn't too impressed, and some of the people looked really creepazoid...like I would end up left for dead or something.
And with that random rambling, I must be off. It was great to see you in Quincy, and I am going to burn those CDs soon.
