[RL with Mello] Marriage Virus
Naoto just got back to his flat on the south side of town. He set down the large paper sack of Chinese food on the kitchen table and began hunting around for some glasses and utensils. Luckily, he managed to straighten up the place, somewhat. There were still some stacks of newspapers on the floor, along with boxes of case files, but those had been shoved out of the way, next to the bookshelf. At least the sink was empty and the kitchen was reasonably free of crumbs and clutter.
He pulled out two glasses and some bowls from the cabinet and set them on the table. Then he began pulling out the various take out boxes and arranging them in the center of the table, within easy reach of the two chairs. Two orders of shrimp fried rice, two orders of vegetable chow mein, and four egg rolls, along with several fortune cookies. It would probably be enough for just two people, considering that Naoto usually didn't eat too much at one sitting.
He hoped Mello would arrive soon, before the food got cold... More importantly, he was eager to see his marital partner again, after spending so much time apart.
