[The feed clicks on. It's quiet, save for some muffled voices in the background. A few loud sniffles.]
He's going to make it. He's got to. He'll... he'll pull through. I know he will. [Another long sniff.] God, please... Please let him stay... Just a little longer... There's still so much work for him to do here, you know? Can't shuffle off this mortal coil just yet, not until he catches Kid... right?
[A hiccough. More sniffing, A small, distressed sound.]
Dammit Naoto, stop it. You've got to be strong for him now. Don't you want to greet him with a smile when he wakes up?
[Another sniffle, some deep breaths. There's a long pause before Naoto speaks next.]
