[Naoto nods, making his way toward the exit. He glances toward Kanji, reading the silent question on his face.]

Wh-What? [A slight blush blooms against his cheeks. He's being purposefully ignorant.] You'd think you'd be used to seeing me this way, huh? I mean, it happens so often...

[The blush deepens a bit. Of course Kanji wouldn't accept that answer. But how is Naoto supposed to tell Kanji that he's disappointed that they won't be able to sneak beneath the staircase and snog for a bit just because Naoto is no longer a girl?]
