I know what you mean. It feels like a lifetime since I first joined this community. Maybe it's because I've changed so much since I first arrived...

It might be a bit dangerous for you, yes. Even if I were to refrain from using any magical attacks, Yamato-Takeru is still quite powerful when wielding a sword.

Do you remember the first time we spoke to one another? It was right after my first encounter with the infamous Kaitou Kid, and I had failed to apprehend him. I took it pretty hard... got myself completely plastered... When I look back on that day, I think my reaction was rather laughable. Sulking like a child because my ego had been bruised.

I still wonder why you decided to talk to me, then. I mean, I was drunk at the time...

I really don't remember why exactly I commented. It's as likely as not that I was bored and had nothing better to do, if we're being honest. I'm not even sure if you intended to post anything.

I'm not certain either. Perhaps it was merely a childish cry for attention at the time...

Even so, it was a fortuitous meeting, and I count myself lucky to have met you, despite the rather embarrassing circumstances.

Me too! I shudder to think what sort of person I would be if I had never come to Inaba, or discovered this community...

...Actually, I've been thinking about what would happen, if I were to lose my memories of this place. Would I go back to being that same cold and aloof person I was before?

That depends on whether you're referring to DDD or Inaba as 'this place'.

I was referring to the community, but... I already know that if I had forgotten about Inaba, I would go back to the way I used to be, because I would still be suppressing all the emotions I wouldn't allow myself to show to others.

Then there it is. I don't think the community has made as big a difference.

But it still made a difference, nonetheless. It's helped me to hone my skills as a detective, as the very least. I have Kaitou Kid and the others from Ekoda and Beika to thank for that.

What about you? Do you think the community has had a significant impact on the person you've become now?

Most definitely. I can tell I've changed quite a bit during this year, and it's not just because I left my world. I'm not sure what to make of it though.

You've become the sort of person that I can depend on, no matter what. There was always a feeling of trust, even when we first met, but after everything that's happened, I know that I can always count on you to have my back and to keep an eye on me.
