Week 15 Truth: Halloween memory

I don't really have any specific Halloween memories. My parents had - I guess they probably still have - a big fancy costume ball for their friends every year. It's really more about who spent the most on their costume than about bobbing for apples or carving pumpkins or any of the fun stuff people do on Halloween.
If I have to pick a memory, though, I'd have to say this year's. My boyfriend's birthday is Halloween and he's never had a surprise party before, ever, so I talked to the headmistress of the school where he works and we planned one for him as part of the school's costume party. The look of shock on his face when we brought out the cake and everyone started singing, and the way he couldn't stop grinning all night because he was so happy?
That's my favorite Halloween memory. And, you know... after the party was pretty memorable, too.
