So I'm entertaining the idea of getting a tattoo. I'm hesitant because it's so permanent, but that's also something I like about it. I know, this sounds nonsensical.
I decided I'd like to go with a little song lyric, and I of course turned to Sugarcult, The Matches, & Straylight Run. These are what I've got so far. I obviously need to narrow things down and I would love everyone's opinions. I also picked a couple fonts and did little samples or whatever with them.
Point me toward the morning ["Point Me Toward the Morning" by The Matches -- I love that song and it really has been helping me keep positive through the past month or so of shit]
Keep your head up
Your colors are beautiful
["Head Up" by Sugarcult -- Another song that has really been helping me out a lot]
Trust yourself
Don't waste another day
[From "Head Up" again]
Don't count me out
["Don't Count Me Out" by Straylight Run -- I find the lyric empowering and blah blah blah]
And of course all of the meaning is further intensified by the memories and experiences I have with these bands.

So I don't know. Opinions and whatever are welcome. Please give me some feedback, guys. Oh, I'm also thinking I'd put it on my back, like on my shouldblade. I know it'll probably hurt but I need a spot that can be easily covered because I may end up working in an education setting and a tattoo would be a no-no.
