Here's how the trip went...

We had contest on Friday of last week. We got straight ones, as expected. Then I went home for thirty minutes to finish packing for the trip.

The busses pulled out at 6:30pm. We drove all night long and I got to spend quality time with my little Freshman buddy Rob DiFazio. We got to Niles West HS at around 7:00am, right as Symphonic Band(not my group) had to perform. They did do really well though, even though they went on stage in their pajamas. Mr. Snow even had his baseball cap on. Anyway, after that we had breakfast on the bus then headed off to Navy Pier for a couple of hours. I didn't buy anything, but I did eat at this really awesome Jazz restraunt. After Navy Pier we went back to Niles West HS so the Wind Symphony(my group) could perform. We did an amazing job. Except for the end of Tannhauser(It was all amazing except for the VERY LAST NOTE!! I'll get over it, we were still SO awesome!)Then we went to the hotel. I was on the twelfth floor and I had to walk up all the steps in a concert band dress, w00t. Then we went to eat dinner at Gino's Pizzeria. That was pretty cool, although the best part was going to see the Chicago Wind Symphony! It was amazing and then we went back to the hotel and went to sleep.

When we woke up on Sunday we had random food stuffs for breakfast in Mrs. Garrison's room. We then went back to Navy Pier and I got a tattoo. Just a little airbrush thing, but I thought it was cute. It turns out that Becky and I got the same shape and color of tattoo. It also turned out to be in the exact same place. No wonder we are best friends. After a couuple of hours at the Pier we went to Medieval Times. Now that was AWESOME! I was the GREEN KNIGHT. Go GrEeN! LoL my knight didn't win, but should have. The BLUE KNIGHT cheated I tell you! :-P After that we went back to the hotel again and I spent the rest of the night(6 hours to be exact) doing homework. A lot of my friends went to sleep but I really didn't want to be seen in a bathing suit. So I just went in the steam room in my jeans and a T-shirt. Yeah, so that lasted a REALLY long time. I left there pretty quickly and went to sleep.

On Monday we went to the Field Museum first and it was really boring. I hung out with Mr. Jahnke and Mr. Rogers the whole time. I got some REALLY interesting pictures of them doing some really odd things. Anyway, after a couple of hours Josh, Alex, Mark and I went to the Cafe to hang out until we got to leave. We were playing with the Walkie Talkies and somehow Mr. Jahnke got ahold of one and scared the crap out of me! How mean LoL! Then we trecked out over to the Museum of science and technology. It was amazing, but I was incredibly lonely. I really started to miss Chris a lot then. Seeing all of the band couples walking around made it really hard to tolerate being alone. I went into seclusion for about two hours and wouldn't talk to anyone. Finally the Blankenship twins pulled me out of it and Ashley bought me a hot chocolate to make me feel better. They both ditched their boyfriends to hang out with me, thanks guys I love you! For dinner that night we went to the Hard Rock Cafe of Chicago! As expected they did play YMCA(inside joke)which was really funny because Mr. Jahnke pulled his table right up around him so we couldn't pull him out. It was cool and when we got back to the hotel I did finally go swimming. I had to borrow Becky's bathing suit, but it was ok. I wore shorts so I could feel more comfortable. Don't get me wrong I like the way my body looks, but it is reserved for the eyes of only two people. I really didn't want to be de-robed since Chris wasn't around. I went to sleep and it was nice.

Finally the day we leave for Jenks. We leave early in the morning, 9 ish(I think). We drive for hours as usual. Nothing goes wrong. We stop at the mall in Chesterfield and I get a new cartalige earring. It's really cute! Then after the mall we head home and tornados break out in Tulsa. We stop to get gas and news, finding out that a semi has turned over on the highway and traffic is backed up for miles. We get back on the road and end up in a stand-still for about two hours. When we finally get passed the wreck we can see a small car smashed underneath it. That made me sad, I hope no one was hurt. After getting past that it was already two hours past when we were supposed to arrive at home(9:30pm) and we were still two hours(at least) outside of Tulsa. Finally I get to Tulsa, and I'm homefree. NOT! We finally get a breakdown. It's my bus this time. The front right tire blows out and we have to go the remainding way home at thirty-five mph on the highway. It's 2:00am when I get home and I finally get to go to sleep. No I wasn't excused from school today. A lot of people did not go though. I was there. I slept through most of the day but no one cared. They were just impressed I was there.

So that's my trip. I am going to wait for Christopher to get online. Midrasha was cancelled tonight due to tornado warnings. Sapulpa got it worse than Tulsa tonight, so I will give him time. I love him and I can wait a lifetime. I'm out guys, have a nice night!
