Well, I think I'm caught up with everyone else's LJ. I know it's been a while since I last updated, I just haven't had ANY time. Last week I had nothing but band practice after school from 2:30-5:20. Friday was 8th grade night, Saturday was the Oakton Classic, and yesterday was a designated HW day. It sucks though because we have been working our asses off for too many hours and we ended up placing 6th out of 6 bands and the worst part of it is......Ms. Cole is okay with it!!!! How can she be okay with our major suckage. It is just beyond me. Anyway, on a more lighter note, Saturday we also got to see the Virginia Tech Marching Virginians and they were AWESOME!!! Forget about giving facts about the school....they should just have the band perform to recruit students. Sunday I slept in until noon then did HW until six and went to dinner after I had finished everything. Today (one of our first wonderful days w/o band practice) was pretty easy. English went well, even though I spent an hour revising my paper that she said was due today, and she didn't even collect it. Marketing and SAT Prep were awesome and easy as usual. I spent the whole collective three hours talking with Michelle and working with her on stupid Marketing, and SAT football projects. Lunch food sucked, as usual, but I sit with a cool group of people so everything was okay. AP American was easy. Like Mrs Cannon back down in Naples, Ms Albert rocks!! We had a test on Chapters 1-4 but I knew all the material so I feel pretty confident about it. *sigh* Anyway, after my mom picked me up (I won't be able to get my liscence legally in VA until the 22nd), we went and ordered Gabby's corsage for Homecoming and we got a new dress shirt that I think will match her dress. Tomorrow is History Club, DECA, and Academic Team after school!!! It's going to be alot to try and fit in before band practice so wish me luck.
