mixed bag
I need to draw attention to the absolutely wonderful Letterboys story that nopseud wrote for me in fic_requests. I just. Dude, SO MUCH LOVE. AJ and JC are stranded at a gas station with only a little money after JC's credit card gets cancelled. *g* (Why yes, I was trying to find the humour in my situation.) And I think I will never, ever live the Reese's peanut butter cups thing down.
My day started off badly when I went to town in the RAIN to get bank stuff sorted out. So I bought myself food from Pret A Manger to cheer me up, and lemme just say, their mushroom risotto soup thingy? HEAVEN. Then I had to rush back for a supervisory meeting with my replacement supervisor. (My usual one is on a research fellowship) And the new guy, guess what his name is? Uh huh. MACLEAN. So not AJ-like, but dude, so amused. :D Anyway, he was a nice guy, I got a GREAT oral mark for my last undergrad module EVER (oral marks count for 1/8th of my degree, so they're mucho important), and then I had lunch with friends.
Oh, not to mention my heart almost bursting with SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE at the new BSB song. OMG BOYS I MISSED YOU NEVER LEAVE ME AGAIN. AJ had to cover up for the lower harmonies, so no vocal acrobatics for him. *pout* I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of AJ wailing, but as I was listening to the song for the 363426772135437th time, the wonderful texture of his lower harmonies gave me a full body shiver and turned me into jelly. And, wow. bubbleforest and I were talking about how Nick's verse was very suited to his voice. His voice really did something good with the melody of his verse. I just wish we had more Howie. But oh! The Brian/Howie harmonies! AJ's voice GUH.
Also, Heroes. OMGOMGOMG. This show is going to KILL me when it comes to the finale, I swear. And wtf is it with my friends all only JUST knowing about Heroes? I talk to them and they're like "Don't spoil me I'm only at episode 10!" O_O You only just found out?! Where were you guys when I was pimping Heroes like crazy?!
My love for Joey grows exponentially every week. However, I fear Justin may never turn up on DWTS. Just because he wouldn't want us to have a complete set of *NSYNCers on the show. That said, it's physically impossible for him to watch Joey in LA next week, since my concert in Manchester is on Monday, and he's got a second Manchester date on Tuesday. The week after that he's free though, and I think most of the Shrek 3 promo should be done by then.
I spoiled myself for the TAR11 finale, and it wasn't the team I would've liked to have won, but at least it wasn't that other fucking annoying team. The less said about the entire season, the better. The next race better kick ass with the tasks, or else I'ma gonna hunt the task planners down with a blunt knife.
I swear I had more to talk about, but I think I've already wittered on for long enough.
