Update #1
So yea... I decided to update from the internet cafe in the central hotel living room! We got into New York yesterday... The flight was interesting, and the situation with my dad is chill/ guess he was just nervous. Had a lay over in Cincinati. The people just look different in the airport. Pretty soon we were up and away for the short flight to New York. Flying into New York was honestly scary. The buildings were by far more closely packed together and crowded than I ever expected. Once on the ground, the combination of trees, cars, people felt almost confining. The people were amazingly very friendly, A+ for that! We decided to just hang around, check into the hotel, go to Central Park, and sight see the neighborhoods for the rest of the evening.
In the morning we met up with our friends Mike and Anthony. Today we took a tour of the NBC studios, freakin' swedish! It is raining pretty hard, but Times Square, Grand Central Station, and the city was still very cool... Though again confining. During the night, Anthony and I took a subway/ taxi adventure. We split off from the parental units, and went and ate dinner with his foreign exchange student friend and the rest of her foreign exchange student friends. Naturally, I gravitated toward the German girls... They were amazing and nice! Tomorrow we are going to meet up with them again... Anyways, had dinner with them in Little Italy and then ventured into China Town sketch... The subways were a huge adventure also! Talk to you guys later!
