what the heck?!

That's what I said when I got back to school. All the teachers acted like we'd been in school for a million years and remembered everything. I'm sorry to say they were sadly mistaken. Who is actually gonna remember all the verbs for Spanish? Who is gonna remember Cramer's rule? NOT ME!! lol. I'm sure it'll all come back, around the last day of school. Oh, and chemistry is my new least favorite class.

My dad was sitting in the living room today and said, "All I want to do is eat oatmeal cookies!!" Oooo!! Pick me, pick me!! It was 9:00, but I made my daddy (and me) some killer oatmeal raison cookies (with no bananas). I also made dinner today, potato chouter. That was good, too. Oh! And I got up (ontime, wow!) this morning and made French toast for breakfast! I'm good! I made all my own meals! (I made my own luch, too.) See, I'm ready for college now. Ha. Just kidding.

The music for chair tryouts are kinda sad. It's 12 measures, and everybody has the same piece, in respectice keys. Mr. T had us play thorough all the scales together, then we read through the tryout piece. That's crazy. I suppose it's not a terrible idea. He was prolly sick of hearing totally stupid renditions of the music, so he tried to illimanate some of it by going through the whole song with us. As far as the trumpets go, there probably won't be much rearranging. Jared may beat DJ, but I haven't really heard enough of either to tell for sure. Another thing Mr. T has told he's gonna do is pass offs. How many plans has he actually followed through with? I really hope he does with this one, because the band needs some order. We're gonna be kick-butt (someday).
