Gosh! I didn't update for a whole week! I just couldn't find the time. I guess that's a good thing. Show's I have a life. Ha.
So, Christmas was fun. I got a new camera (FINALLY). It's takes film (not digital, in other words) which is good. I've been using the same camera for the past five years, and it's about dead. The stupid thing was an $8 pink camera from Wal Mart that my grandmother gave me for the trip out to here when we left Logan. I now have one that will actually take a picture!! Hurray! I also got the PotC DVD and soundtrack, totally awesome. I've been wanting the soundtrack especially for a really long time. We had a good program at church. I played accompiniment for a trio that turned out to be a quartet because one person didn't know they weren't supposed to be in it. It was really quite funny. We had the traditional Christmas brunch or waffles and ice cream, which was really good, as usual. Christmas, even thought it was wet instead of white, was fun.
New Years I spent with a friend playing games and watching movies. And eating, of course. We even had a real kitchen fire!!! It was kinda funny, actually. Angela noticed the flames in the oven first. Mr. Tom just blew it out, shut the door, and went on. Then the fire flared up even more, the smoke alarms went off, and the phone rang. (It was Rachel Sandifer wanting to talk to her mom. Poor girl thought we were all gonna die cause of the stupid alarm.) After half a can of baking soda and funny smelling croissants, we put the fire out and went on with dinner.
I was walking home the other day from lessons and happend upon a can of pop on the side walk. I was gonna be responsibile and throw it away, but decided to flatten it first. What I didn't notice is that the can of pop was not pop, but beer. Unopened. But I didn't notice that until there was more beer on my shoe and sidewalk then left in the can. I decided to just let it be.
I love breaks from school. I can actually relax for a second, and everything's good. It's so great. School is just so stressful! And you have to deal with stupid people, and do homework; the perks just go on and on. Man, I don't wanna go back!!
