"this has been filtered for content"
Hello Livejournal, I feel bad that I ignore you so much. But, things have been interesting!
First things first. I have a boyfriend! His name is Lyle, and he is adorable. He loves skiing, and is from Minnesota. We're also on the intramural hockey team together (top two goal scorers!)We went on a date today to get our skates sharpened (how fitting). And we made custom bauer sticks with the little computer thing. Apparently Lyle's last name cannot be put on a stick because it's "filtered for content" even though there is nothing obscene about it. Oh well.
That brings me to my next point: intramural hockey! Our team is called Natural Noise, because we're composed mostly of pep band kids. It's a lot of fun, although frustrating at times. It's difficult to go from having line mates that you almost have telepathic connections with to people who don't know how to skate. But, it's still fun. I lead the team in scoring with seven goals, which I think is more than everyone else combined. We're 2-1 right now, with a game in a couple of hours.
Third point: school. Boo. College is hard, and RPI is extra hard hahaha. I'm not doing that great in Introduction to Engineering Analysis, but I'm dominating in Chemistry, Calculus, and Science Technology and Society. I'm not complaining though. Three out of four isn't bad! I have to register for classes on Thursday, and I hope I can get into all of them. I know Lyle had an issue with getting into his classes, and his registration was much earlier than mine. I'll just have to be ultra sneaky about it.
Fourth point: trip to the north country! Next weekend I'm going to Clarkson University and Saint Lawrence University with the pep band to cheer on women's ice hockey. It should be a good time, albeit a little of a long trip. Then again, nothing can really be long after the 24 hour marathon to Atlanta in 2005.
Fifth point: Streetlight Manifesto!! November 17th!! Revolution Hall!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!
Sixth point: Uhhhh....I think I'm done hahaha.
