...Have you ever had an experience in which you have absolutely no recollection of what has been going on for an utterly frightening length of time?

What this letter contains may come as a complete surprise to you. I ask you to read this in complete private and discard the letter later. .
..I have decided to extract all recollection of my previous lo relationship with Neji. All of these memories are now safely stored in a pensieve. As you read this letter, to my current knowledge, we have reverted to being rivals once again. Up to this day, I could never tell you what went so horribly and inexplicably wrong...but the toll it took on us was a devastating, and if I did not take this measure, a forever-lasting one.
Yet, I had a feeling that it would not last, far be it from me to be pessimistic.
That being said, I do have a large favour to ask of you. I beseech you not to tell me anything about this. The pictures that Neji and I took together - please hide them from me. The collages that I made, the gifts that he gave me, anything that may seem out of place...please find a way to conceal it all. And if by the unlikely case that he returns to me, please explain this to him. I would rather be content in my decision to remain by your side for as long as I live, as your Most Important Person that you so utterly deserve. For what he has done for me in the past, I sincerely hope that he will find another Precious Person who will cherish him as much as I did...but it will not be me.
