September 2006 update
* True Tales now has a blog (you're reading it) where you can check for site updates and can post your comments on the magazine's contents. Updates will also continue to be posted at the True Tales e-mail list. The blog is located at LiveJournal and is also available through Atom and RSS feeds.
* The editor is in the process of linking to the magazine's older issues at the True Tales blog. Once that is done, the 2006 contents will begin to be posted at this site.
* As of the 2006 issue, True Tales is pleased to expand the magazine's offerings to include videos. (Yes, the editor has become addicted to YouTube and its many cousins.) The submission guidelines have been accordingly revised.
* True Tales will continue to accept submissions related to military men through the end of November. Next year's theme will be businessmen. Conference rooms, elevators, deal-breakers . . . The possibilities are endless. Read the submission guidelines and submit your fiction, narrative nonfiction, drama, poetry, book excerpts, art, photography, and videos. Submissions unrelated to military men and businessmen are also welcome.
* The links page has been updated.
* True Tales is seeking an arts director to locate art, photography, and/or video submissions for the online magazine. No professional experience is needed, just an interest in the visual and/or dramatic arts, as related to the topics covered by this magazine. The position is unpaid.
