Got The Garden Started...
Yesterday we planted broccoli, cauliflower and carrots! We expanded the garden to include the sunny side of the shed and planted some peas in there, as well as lettuce in the small flowerbox up front. Everything seems to be growing along well so far :) My seedlings are doing very well since we've had the warm spring and I've been able to set them out on the porch every day(I'm growing peppers, tomatoes and basil from seeds)! We were pretty bummed when our local nursery was bought out, however, instead of $1.29 per pack, we got our veggies that we needed to buy at $.99 per pack!
Well, that's about all that's going on over here at the moment. We should be planting the rest of our stuff out in a couple weeks and we have plans to help my Dad get his in as well. They sold the house I grew up in and will be living at the farm full time in less than a month's time it seems...
