I just wanted to canoodle with everyone and let you know that I'm wishing you well. I had two lovely people make Shelter icons for me and I'm currently showing off the one smilla02 made. Thank you so much smilla02 and at_midnight! Your generosity and creativity never fails to astound me. ♥
Speaking of Shelter, if you haven't seen this film yet: gooooo! Rent, buy, ( Read more... )

::waves back just as madly:: Hey V!

... and wishes you had lots of down time (from working) to spend writing...

I think I must be perverse deep down inside because it seems like when I do have time to write that I just end up hypnotized by the blinky cursor but if I'm busy then I'm scribbling away. I've gotten to the point where a day off means I'll have time to read but not necessarily to write. I am in such awe of people who can write - and write well - on demand. It's no coincidence that I never sign up for challenges. I would fail every time. ::throws up hands::

The ToD story is, of course, about Zeke and Myron but I really want to do the time that they live in justice. I have some very vivid images from a childs point of view and now with a middle-aged adults perspective. I often get very emotional pointing out the most mundane details such as the price of stamps or the name of a newcaster. I should look up the price of a gallon of gas. That would really make me cry. ::sad grin::

... it was an exciting time to navigate and I write bits about it on occasion and wonder how I can ever pull it all together ...

I think most revolutions leave people feeling like that. We've lived through and are living through interesting times - both good and bad.

(and hope all the crimes have outlived their statutes of limitation)

Amen.
