[ Postdated to Christmas - Desire's Gifts ]

Desire doesn't need to spend time wrapping gifts.
This doesn't mean that the Endless doesn't wrap the gifts himheritsef -- merely that Desire doesn't need to.
The androgyne tucks each of the presents into the pockets of hisherits jacket, waiting for the right moment to give them out. Of course, if Desire can't find the recipient, most of these can be left beneath the tree in Milliways...

Anthy's gift is a basket of roses, left beneath the tree. There are many colors -- Dark red, yellow, orange, purple. The basket itself is strewn with rose leaves.
All the roses still have their thorns.
The orange roses have a faint undertone of peaches in their smell.

Aphrodite's gift is rather round and wrapped in silver paper, tied with a green ribbon: The tag says, 'For the fairest,' and opening it will reveal a large pomegranate.

The package marked for Ares is covered in red and gold: If there were any package-shakers about, it's the shape and weight of a DVD. It's accurate: The movie within is Anger Management.
Desire is no doubt counting that Ares has brought his sense of humor today.

Death's gift is wrapped in black paper with a white and green patter -- mistletoe. When opened, it's a book: More specifically, a bar guide with recipes. It's clearly been modified, since the first twenty pages only read the recipe for White Russians.

Del's gift is in a teeny tiny box: When opened, it will reveal a little hourglass on a silver chain. It's filled with jewel dust, and the various colors fall through the miniature funnel like sand.

Despair's gift is wrapped in the same black paper as Death's, the little white and green of the mistletoe pattern the only break in the darkness. In the medium-sized box is a heart-shaped mirror, clearly intended to be added to Despair's gallery of mirrors and mist.

Destiny's gift isn't wrapped, and waits in Desire's gallery. The Eldest brother knows what it is and when he will come to claim it if he wants it, after all: It is a series of blank pages and a raven's feather quill.

Destruction's gift is wrapped in silver paper: It is roughly the size of a small suitcase, and that's accurate. It's a painter's case of pigments and brushes. Since Destruction has already attempted oils, chalk -- but not watercolor, to Desire's memory -- maybe a new medium is all he needs.

Dream's gift isn't properly wrapped, so anyone can see the plush Raven with a little blue bow around its neck. Of course, the pull-string to make the stuffed toy talk will only work for Desire's brother...

From the shape of Frankie's gift, there's no question: It's clothes. Upon opening the shiny gold paper, however, it turns out to be a corset much like one he had in life -- Just in case he wants it.

When freed from the golden wrapping paper, Liz' present comes in a jewelry box: There's a small gold heart on a chain, and the charm strongly resembles the Endless' lighter. It's nothing like the keys Dream gave out, no real magic to it -- Desire merely thought she might like it.

The small box is wrapped in a pink silk scarf -- That's something Meg will find a use for, no doubt. Inside, there is a music box with a dancing ballerina -- hardly worth noting, until you realize the song it plays was the main dance suite from her latest show.

Desire has another small jewelry box for Moiraine, this one wrapped in silver and blue: Inside is a fine chain with a small, silver replica of Avendoraldera (long before the tree had been cut down).

Peter's gift is heavier than most of the other gifts, for its size: After opening the silver-white paper, Peter will find a Polaroid camera. Or more specifically, a wizarding equivalent of a Polaroid camera, since there certainly isn't a photo lab inside Milliways.

Duke's gift is in Desire's pocket, wrapped in cellophane that matches the Endless' eyes. This is one gift that won't be left under the tree.

Desire has a present for Raph, as well -- Probably because Death's sibling doesn't want her thinking that he's being deliberately messed with. Wrapped up in green paper, it's a box with two pairs of silk boxers. And they are the proper size.

Reg's gift is wrapped in green paper and tied with a silver ribbon: Opening it reveals a small framed portrait, the two boys dressed in their Wizarding best... and shoving each other intermittently, since there's no way they're older than eleven and twelve. There's one moment both the brothers are grinning -- a young Sirius, beaming infectiously, and Regulus' more reserved, tentative smile. It isn't a photo: It's a painting. Turning it over, there's a note fastened to the back.
It reads: We can hang this wherever you like in the Threshold, love. Tell me where?

Everyone else finds a small box of candy beneath the tree.

Your name is penned in gold on the card. It contains whatever your particular favourite is, be it chocolate, toffee, mints, sugared fruit, taffy, and so on -- Whatever the contents of the candy box, it's perfect. It melts in the mouth just so, and reminds the one eating it of the first, perfect moment in childhood the sweet was first tasted.
The problem is, once finished, you are unable to have more.

[ OOC: Some of these have already been distributed. Obviously, if you've received yours, ignore this post. :D ]
