Marketing. Oppurtunism. I'm just writing this because I want to get my train of thought down before I forget... Am I turning into a Moralist? A Fascist? A Religious Nut?
So, there's a funny little relationship going on here. A relationship between the 'patient' and the 'impressionable'. The 'impressionable' are walking around strutting their stuff, looking cool and knowing everybody is watching them. Or they're hanging tough, knowing everybody is imtimidated by them etc. The 'patient' are the one's behind the scenes saying "No worries Son, look as tough as you like. Here, wear these baggy pants and cap at a funny angle and scraf etc and you'll be the coolest shit on the block." The impressionable want to... impress. The 'patient' own the clothing company. The also own a marketing department (or maybe they outsource it). Marketing companies take a product and add the suffix 'My' to the beginning (eg MyPhone) and then sell it to impressionable image conscious individuals. Marketing Departments are also involved in a global conspiracy to create an entirely separate 'reality' where the laws of physics as we know them entirely break down. Yes, apparently in this World, every person justifiably believes that the Universe really does revolve around them. The fact that they still have a physical presence in the real World often makes things a little complicated. Especially on the roads.
