Been a while
So I guess I haven't actually updated in a while, although I do check LJ. Let's see. Last weekend went home. Shopped for wedding and brides maid dresses. Found a few we liked. We will be actually trying stuff on after Thanksgiving. The weekend before that I went to Kentucky to be in a lumbar jack tournament. Jodi and I entered into the cross cut. We thought there was a division for girls.........nope........we competed against the guys, so there was no way we were gonna place. BUT, when we went, two other girls, who were professionals also went. AND we beat them on our first cut, but we messed up our second cut and they finished before us. But we did pretty good anyway. I had a great time and I hope to do it next year and maybe enter into more events. lol. Megan, my roommate, told me I am the most random person she has ever met. Indeed I am.
As for school...it is going. Busy busy as usual. I love our apartment to a degree. It does get awfully cold, but I need to seal up our windows since management won't. Have been going back and forth with MediaCom a lot. Our service for internet and phone comes and goes as it pleases. ARG! Hopefully I will get to volunteer for deer surveying around southern illinois to help out a grad student. ALso, I am going to try for the REACH program, which is a research program for undergrads. I will be working with an adviser and conduct research. I am meeting weekly with Quinton from fisheries and I am working on a survey about sturgeon in the Mississippi River. The application is due in January, but it is A BEAST, so it will take plenty of time to finish.
As for social life...haven't really had one, because I worry to much about school and don't think I can hang out. And then when I can, I don't feel like it. lol. BUT last night I went out to the guys' house and wrote a paper and watched the guys play The need for speed game. I cut JP's hair too! I am becoming a hair dresser....hehe...anyone need their hair cute?? I didn't realize I was the only girl there til someone mentioned it....and I was like...woohoO! Cuz you guys know how I like being the only guys sometimes. hehe. But no more updates on guys though. I still talk to Mike, but there isn't anything there. No prospects, but I am struggling again with it majorly. It comes in waves, sometimes I will be completely fine and others...WHAM hello. I guess that is just the way it goes. Oh...pray for Brice! I don't care whether you hang out with Brice or not. You need to tie that bitch up, and force beer down his throat at SIU. He comes back, and cant drink for shit. Seriously disappointed - Hope life's going well for ya :-D

I know...one of these nights when I don't work or have school or homework I'm going to duct tape brice to a chair and keep pouring beer down his throat til he explodes. I think he'd like that:)

lol - are you kidding me? He'd love it! - Casie on the other hand would probably blame it on me, and then I'd be castrated. Oh well - sounds like you stay busy!
This made me really upset when Kristen showed me. I want Brice to know that he has friends that truly care about him even if his old friends don't like the new Brice, or I should say that they don't like the decisions he has made, since Brice hasn't changed dramatically. I love that kid.
