By Birthday weekend
So I had a really good weekend, starting Friday for my birthday. Kristen and Norm took Jodi and I out to diner and 17th Bar and Grill in Marion. I thought the food was good, but the leftovers didn't agree with me on Saturday. Friday night we had a party out at the guys' house. We had a lethal game of spoons going on. Bodies flying over the table, chairs flying and being tipped over. One guy even had a hold of a spoon so hard that when Norm tried to take it away, the guy cut his finger!!!! hahahah....Anyway. I tried this Harvest Cider wine that was pretty good, had a Amaretto Stone Sour which was pretty good, and Tim let me try a bit of his Peach Schnobbes. I have no idea if that is how you spell some of those, but oh well. The rest of the night was fun, just spent time with friends and talking. I actually stayed out past my bedtime! haha. Saturday, Scottie P, Jodi, Kristen, Norm, and I went muddin' out by the river. That was a TONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN of fun. Some of the hills we went up, I am surprised we made it! ohmy! It was more off roading since it hadn't rained for a while, but that is ok, because we wouldn't have made it up those hills if it had been muddy. We found a few spots of mud that we got dirty in...heheheheh...I will put pics up sometime. Once Kristen finds the cord to her camera. After that I tried to study, but I was sooo tired. So I just watched TV, took a nap, and was sick cuz I ate my leftovers. I felt sick all the way up until it was time to go to Fred's. But I put my boots on and was determined to have a good time. So did some dancing and singing and watching my friend dominate in the poker game. He ended up being #2...darn...so....The band was decent, but they were told to learn how to play Copperhead Road, but they didn't, so that pissed me off and made me sad. I was really looking forward to it. And then they didn't play a song I requested that they said they would play.....so it could have been better, but I still had fun. So, I think my birthday was good, but can't compare to last year!!!! haha. Miss you guys!
