updating...since I haven't in a while
Well, I'm finally off work for Christmas. I don't have to go back until the 3rd, which is very nice. I'm so very glad about that. So to celebrate, I slept in unitl 8 today. :) yup, 8. Remember my built in torture device...I didn't want to run the risk of uspetting it and causing myself a bad day.
I wish I had this great big exciting stuff to tell you. But I don't. The most excitment since my last post is the surprise party I planned for dad on Monday. His birthday is tomorrow and he'll be 60. I'be been wanting to do something special for him since the middle of the year, but finances wouldn't allow anything. So mom and I got together, with the help of Amy F, and planned a small gathering Monday afternoon at B'vill with the staff and a few others. It was great!!! He was so surprised!!! He said it was the best birthday he's ever had!!! WOOHOOO....go us!!!
Other than that nothing exciting. Went to Foley with mom and dad today so they could finish up their shopping for each other. Got one more stocking stuffer for myself...really cute ring we found at one of the stores. It was only $8, so I was able to talk mom into it. :) I'm not sure what I'm doing tomorrow. I have all day. I seriously need to clean my room....it's horrible. And I need to wrap gifts. I am having dinner with the folks, as it's dad's b'day!!
Saturday night we're gathering with the Dunnings at the Luckett's house for the evening. The Sunday (Christmas!!!!) I'm going to mom and dad's to open gifts. Then we're headed to the burdens for lunch/dinner....mmmm, steak!!! Then, Beck's picking me up and we're going to meet Dor at the airport as he comes back from AZ. After that, I have the rest of next week off to do whatever. I'll probably be bored. But, I have a lot of books I need to read, so I may catch up on that. We'll see.
Well, I've got a room to clean and gifts to wrap. So I'm out.
