I know a little bit about why you like that logography...the concept of ball and stick diagrams for visualization of networks and social relationships. The thing I'd be concerned about is that maybe it's so generic as to have been taken before

Logos can be like family crests embued with meaning or abstract. They can be artistic reflections of the letters (e.g. the one on my homepage is my initials), or just abstract

Neither! :) Just wanting to help, and it can be a little fun.

You're right about the lack of necessity of engineering a truly unique solution to one's identity. It works for lots of people. This company offers a catalog of various categories of logos for either exclusive or non-exclusive rights, here's some of their "internet technology" ones:

Still, I'm happy to put some thought into making something especially thought out for you. If I've got the requirements in my head I can think on it. If you just need a hi-res or rendered variation of your current logo with custom character sizing/placement I can do that too, though I need to know what formats you need.
