I think I'm going to have to start writing up some rants here. I don't understand people sometimes. It feels like someone needs to teach a lot of the public how to be marginally considerate, or feign intelligence. I may not be the best man for the job, but I've got a couple of thoughts I need get off my chest.
So first off, why don't people understand how to use Drive-through lanes? The Drive Through is not for you to make complex orders. It's not for you to make large orders. If you aren't ordering off the menu with no alterations the chance of the order being wrong goes way up. If you are ordering for more than 4 people and you don't have a physical problem walking then you have no business being in the drive-through lane.
Think of it like this. The drive-through is the express lane for fast-food restaurants. If you are going to take more than 60 seconds to order total, or what you're going to say is going to require you correcting the poor soul who's on the other end of a headphone set that is being constantly distracted by the kitchen, then you SHOULD NOT BE IN THE DRIVE-THROUGH. Get off your probably over-ample posterior and walk inside. The whole idea is that the drive-through lane is there for people who's entire order is going to take so little time and effort to fill that getting out of the car is a waste of time.
Quit misusing the express lane at the restaurants World! It's not that hard.
