5 days of update
Wow. I haven't written in March yet. Let me make amends real fast.
Thursday last week I went to visit the client in Ft. Worth. Rehearsal followed, which was productive. Then Ben's, where Judy showed up, along with some of the M's.
Friday was a beating. I took the day off to go contest a ticket I got at Greenville/Royal with one of those new cameras. I made a right hand turn on a yellow light, but the light changed during the turn. They sent me a ticket for $75 for "running" the red light. They wasted half of my day, after which they said it was "borderline" and they'd review it again and send me a decision. The only reason that they sent me that ticket was to extort money out of me, assuming I wouldn't fight it. Fight it I will. By their claim I entered the intersection 3/100 of a second after the light turned red. Then they showed a picture, where I'm already turning. And it's "borderline" Color me pissed.
But after that I dropped food and DVDs off at MusicalAsh's. She's got the flu and I wanted to make sure she had food. Her human contact for 3 days was me and her father. I hope she got more sleep yesterday than she had been when I got there...
Then that night I was going to go dancing, but didn't. Instead Blairyann showed up unexpectedly and called out of the blue. So I went out with them. It was really fun to see them again...
Saturday morning I finished helping Trav&Gwen move out of the Oakhill place. They're in McKinney now. Next was a blood donation, then meeting up with Blairyann, Jared, and the Ryan&Aimee. We went down to Uptown Bar & Grill, which unexpectedly has karaoke on Saturdays. Really nice book too. And (without too much arm-twisting) they started picking songs for me to sing.
Sunday morning was church, then more Blairyann with Noelle&Brent at lunch. There we got the big news that Noelle & Brent are moving to Hawaii in June. Darn. And me being related, I'll be required to go visit at some point. Double darn. I'm really hating this. ;)
After that I swung by lamerrill's to give her money for the Police show in June and hang out for a little bit. After that I tried to get together with geisha40k for dinner, but she was still stuck at work. So I'll meet her tonight. So I saw Blairyann one more time by the airport, then headed home. I finished listening to all of the discs I need to review, but didn't start writing yet. That'll start up tonight after dinner I guess.
So now we're all caught up. I have other stuff to do, so away I go...
