New List and such

Okay so I've seen like three more films the past few days so I thought I'd put them on here because I'm bored.

1. Star Trek (ZOMG STILL SO AWESOME) (5/5)
2. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (4.5/5)
3. Drag Me To Hell (4.5/5)
3. Up (4.5/5)
4. The Hangover (4/5)
5. Teriminator Salvation (3.5/5)
6. Angels and Demons (3.5/5)
7. X-men Origins Wolverine (3/5)
8. Land of the Lost (3/5)
9. Year One (2.5/5)

Land of the Lost was really fun and bit over the top which I love. Year One had some funny momments in it but on the whole, the bit players did a much better job than the main characters, and it is the second film in which I was disappointed with. This testifies to just how good the movies have been...Which brings me to Transfomers:RotF
Now a lot of critics have been blasting this film...while the users of those critic sites have been disagreeing with the "professionals". I like this.
Transformers was fun...I laughed quite a bit at both the juvenile and adult humor. It made me feel like a kid again. There's a lot of action and it's shot better than the first film. Optimus prime finally gets a starring role, while the rest of the Autobots (except Bumblebee Mudflap and Skids) take a back seat. However, the Decepticons get the air time, particularly Star Scream and Wheelie.
One criticism has been that Mudflap and Skids are racist-stereotype characters...well I like Tom Kenny so I'm going to give him the benefit of the. They actually sound like white kids trying to be gangster rather than black. My explanation: They get their perspective and information of our culture from the radio.
The plot is a bit silly, but it reminds of the old comic books I used to read, so I don't mind. Look these are giant F***ing Robots, we don't need a serious film witha serious plot...
All in all I give the film a 4.5 out of 5, and it ranks just below Star Trek (bite me I'm a trekkie). My only complaint is the second climax's payoff and SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS how nice it ended...It should have been Empire Strikes Back...
I'm looking forward to Public Enemies and I'm hoping that Harry Potter is everything I've hoped for and more...I'm ready for a few surprises....
