So I am back at home, no longer in the interesting state of Alabama and I'd like to wish everyone a happy New Year's (a little late).
2004...
Spent a whole lot of money - but very well worth it. I love my home no matter how small or how crazy the neighbors. I give thanks for having my car every single day (and that my license isn't suspended yet ;-)). I love my friends, dinners at the house, eating gyros on the living room floor, flying down to Alabama, seeing everyone in NJ. I'm thankful for a friend surviving a terrible bout of cancer. I'm sad that I don't have my grandma. I'm happy that there are so many wonderful people in my life.
2005...
I hope I can save a bit of cash, but I fully expect not too. I hope to buy my long awaited motorcycle (that is where said extra cash will go). I hope there will be more dinners with friends, maybe even a party over my place - long over due. I wish for many more trips to Alabama or just many more trips for him up here. I will get to travel for work for the first time in a couple weeks. School will be different since I have transferred. No resolutions, they suck. But the beginning of the new year was spent well, in the arms of a wonderful man. And then I met his two awesome kids. I will continue to miss and love and pray for my grandma.
Well, that's all folks. Hope to see you all soon and that your hangovers weren't too bad...
