ok so I spose i should update.
I quit my job at the servo about 9 weeks ago now, spent the first week off exploring outer darwin which i haven't done in the 12 years I've lived here. spent that week mainly with stuart because co-incidentally the week i decided to pack it in he tells me "oh i have next week off my boss just agreed to it. so good timing for us *yay*
Now i work as an assistant manager at QBD bookstore in Darwin, Ive had 3 weeks "training" and as of next week i have to train our new manager. it's going to be fun. Just a word of advice, i've never done this myself but by god it peevs me now. DO NOT go into a book shop looking for a book unless you know the title of it or at least the author, because really, even the most knowledgable store assistant can't know everything and "you know that book about the girl who liked that boy in the 1960s and they die" isn't really much to go on. other than that i am loving it. unimpressed with harper not sending me my copies of confessor yet and also not getting the new andrew johns bio yet because thats all i hear about from people asking for it .... grrrr... noone in darwin has these titles yet *fumes*
Stuart and I are going really really well. I'm speding the majority of time here at his place, mainly because it is closer to work (cheaper to run my car) and well, I don't have to deal with the majority of crap at home. I spend about 2 nights a week at home lately.
other than that theres not much else to warble on about, my LOTRO character is level 38 but im getting bored of it because im really not the gaming type....
