I honestly had no idea that opera could be so salacious.
It amuses me to no end that Geneva is mounting this production. The Geneva I study had a law forbidding theatrical productions of any kind. And the one legal theater in town burned down under suspicious circumstances.
But today's Geneva, salacious opera. Who would be more disappointed? Calvin or Rousseau?
