It happened almost without my noticing... an effortless synchronicity that happens between two unexpectedly, yet with the all the force of Nature. I had known of Him because of his relationship with sharon_masters. I had enjoyed having conversations with Him over the phone and IM. I was sorry that I didn't have the pleasure when He took my breath away from afar at one recent Wednesday munch. sharon_masters had brought Him over from Leather Masters one evening while He was visiting from North Carolina. I was beside myself wondering, "He's so hot... but he couldn't be interested in guys, or she wouldn't be levitating like that beside him..." Or, as I have learned, He may just have this affect on all submissives in His presence.
As I mentioned, this happened very quickly and I would have missed it unless someone else pointed it out. I was going about my business on Saturday -- which lately, as you know, mostly involves trying to hasten the eradication of an infection from my recent root canal -- and the following occurred in IM.

Oh, how adorable! He obviously knows that there would be little real chance I could actually make it there today since I'm in CA and He is in NC. The very idea that He would even propose to me this way made my heart flutter. So, in my playful manner, I replied.

Wow, she can be a jealous bitch sometimes... :-O But after a while she settled down and said, "How wonderful for you! You have an owner!" Wow, really? I have an owner of my very own? I ordered an iPhone 3G on Friday, but this is much better! :-) She explained that by terms of common law D/S in our area, this is sufficient for my having a service collar from septembernc. I was stunned at first and then overjoyed. This hot stud, a Southern Gentleman, has collared me as His Boy.
