Of the Morn n' the Woodland

Jun 05, 2008 13:28

A bear lumbers out of the woods to forage for breakfast. He glimpses... a meal? No, a human. Here? Under the cover of the lush woodland, he ambles closer to investigate. And what's that? A mirage of the morning light, or a Nymph hovering nearby? They speak to one another, whispers in the dance of morning fog. His brow settles as he realizes he hears the soft murmur of lovers' poetry, the dance of love new as the morn. The bear licks away a tear, grunts approval, and ambles off for breakfast.
