The last time I did HTML was 2 years or so back when I was learning how to use DreamWeaver. Before that, it was around 7 years ago when I first picked up the very fundamentals in a required class. But in the last 4 days, I swear I've done more HTML work than I would ever had to had my best girl and I not picked up this new hobby and her insisting that we use Blogger instead of LiveJournal.
I'll be the first to admit that Blogger allows for more customisation but to go through all that HTML with the very rusty bare minimum of HTML knowledge was hell. The hours of toiling and going squinty eyed over the insane gibberish codes was duly rewarded with the triumph that came with my success of creating a whole site from scratch. Well... almost. I cheated some by editing existing codes and merging a few codes with some of my own thrown in for measure.
I am now proud to say that I can do HTML but do I want to do it again? Preferably not.
PS. Please not that I used the word 'DO' in relation to HTML as opposed to 'MASTER' because I most certainly have NOT mastered it. If I had to sit for a test where creating a website from scratch is required the most I could prolly do is put in a text with the title a different size, bold and underlined.
