I remember years ago trying to explain to Jesse Dangerously about this ridiculously bad rubber suit dinosaur movie, called "The Last Dinosaur", that ended off with this completely out-of-place, sad title theme that was just completely at odds with the film. And I really wanted to get a copy of it to sample.
Anyway, I came across the ridiculous theme song on youtube andnow I have to post it.

I mean c`mon, from the echoey stabs to the girl singing about how "men have failed where he's prevailed" - this song is begging to be chopped and turned into hiphop.
It turns out this film was a joint outfit between a japanese film company and a US film company, so if a record still exists of this single it must be hiding somewhere in those dusty old record shops over in nippombashi.
I'm putting this one up on the top of the list for the next afternoon of crate digging.
